The Mississippi Board of Psychology is independent from the Mississippi Psychological Association. The Board is a credentialing, licensing, and disciplinary agency whose mission is to protect the public from unauthorized, unqualified, and improper applications of psychology. Its members are appointed by the Governor of Mississippi.
